Privacy Notice

Who we are. CSIE is run by The Ignite Foundation (Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship), Changemakers Ashram, Chakkittapara, Kozhikode, Kerala, India.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
• Optional profile details: phone number, organisation and district.
• Learning records: courses you join, lesson progress, quiz results, assignments and certificates (when those features are added).
• Technical records: sign-in and security events, and an anonymised (hashed) form of your IP address to prevent abuse.

Why we use it

To run your account, deliver courses, give feedback and certificates, keep the platform secure, send service emails (confirmations, resets, reminders) and report overall results to our partners in anonymous form.

Who can see it

Our programme team and your mentors can see your learning records. We do not sell your data. Service providers such as hosting and email delivery process it on our behalf.

How long we keep it

While your account is active and for a limited period afterwards, unless the law requires longer. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, or raise a complaint. Write to info@theigniteindia.com.
